Charlene Stringham brings extensive curriculum and instruction and K-12 systems knowledge to the CA Ed Partners board. She served as a primary, intermediate and middle school teacher along with a district curriculum leader for a total of 25 years before joining the Tulare County Office of Education (TCOE) team for an additional 13 years, retiring in 2021. While at TCOE, Charlene served as a Staff Development and Curriculum Specialist, Educational Services Administrator, and Assistant Superintendent, Instructional Services. In her most recent role, Charlene oversaw TCOE’s College & Career, Education Services, Leadership Support, Migrant Education, and New Teacher and Leadership Development Departments. In addition, she worked extensively on numerous regional and state projects, and was named the chair of California County Superintendents Education Services Association (CCSESA) Curriculum and Instruction Steering Committee (CISC) in which she convened and led peers in similar positions from California’s 58 County Offices of Education.
