Improving systems to achieve better outcomes for students

Given the tremendous demands on school districts, many well-intentioned efforts fail to establish the systems that consistently deliver coherent high-quality instruction and learning. California Education Partners works with districts to build scalable systems, cutting through the noise to help leaders focus on what works.

Districts that come closer to delivering on the promise of a high-quality education for all students share a common characteristic—they have deliberately designed their systems to deliver the results they expect, and they are disciplined in their use.

Fanatical about being deliberate

Using time-tested tools and research-based strategies, we guide district teams through a systemwide improvement process focused on instruction and student outcomes. Ed Partners’ approach is studied by researchers, and we use their findings to strengthen our work.

Our Collaborations

Our collaborations focus on applying four core fundamentals—clear expectations, common effective practices, adult capacity building, and progress monitoring—to two critical areas of systems improvement: preschool through third-grade math (PreK-3 Coherence Collaboration) and eighth- and ninth- grade strategies to increase A-G completion and college eligibility (On-Track Collaboration).

On Track Collaboration

Not every high school diploma in California carries equal value. A-G requirements for college admission leave many high school graduates ineligible for the state’s public 4-year universities. Join our network of school districts facing that reality with proven strategies to increase post-secondary opportunities.

PK-3 Coherence Collaboration (P3CC)

The benefits of preschool and transitional kindergarten (TK) disappear overtime unless those programs align with each other and their district’s K-12 curriculum. Join our Preschool through Third Grade Coherence Collaboration (P3CC) to work alongside other districts making the benefits of the earliest education timeproof.
