Jose Silva

As Data and Analytics Manager, Jose is  responsible for providing  insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, mining, and data visualization techniques. His work involves the translation of complex analytics-derived insights into meaningful, actionable information for the organization.

Jose began his career in the private sector working as a systems manager and continuous improvement engineer.  His career in education began with the position of Data Manager at Sanger USD where he worked closely with district leadership and teachers to use data to effect positive student outcomes.  Prior to joining California Education Partners, Jose served as Data Analyst at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education where he supported districts with data analysis and visualization.

Jose received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from California State University, Fresno.

Jose’s dedication to education comes from his desire to positively affect the lives of young people in small rural communities like the one  in California’s Central Valley where he grew up.  He is committed to ensuring all students have an opportunity to be successful and achieve their dreams.
